Toshiba, the biggest representative of the HD DVD technology, quits the support reportedly. The Japanese television broadcaster NHK reports, that Toshiba closes the development and production of new HD DVD products.
Toshiba will sell remaining HD DVD devices, but they won't produce new ones.
