As Fudzilla reports, the next AMD processor 'Shanghai' will be a 45nm native quad core, which will be about 10 - 20 percent faster than the recent 65nm K10 processors. This means Shanghai will be faster than the Penryn CPUs. It's supposed, that Deneb will be released before Nehalem.
